Description Robert Half is looking for a Senior Accountant for a great long-term contract / temporary to hire opportunity. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. 　　Key responsibilities

　　Achieve compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and controls by working with business partners

　　Other projects as necessary

　　Administer monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP

　　Compose Balance Sheet account reconciliations

　　An endless desire to improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

　　Be a part of various department-wide initiatives

　　Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

　　Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

　　Build analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks) Requirements - BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

　　Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines

　　Proven ability to work and communication well with manager-level associates

　　Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required

　　Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment, to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent

　　This position requires financial reporting systems proficiency

　　Adeptness in Microsoft Word

　　Accounts Payable (AP) experience

　　Strong familiarity with account reconciliation

　　Excel Formulas experience highly desired

　　Microsoft Excel experience preferred

　　Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Word

　　Accounts Receivable (AR) experience

　　Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills

　　Proficient at analyzing financial data and promptly creating accurate reports

　　Notable analytical, quantitative and social skills

　　3+ years of overall general accounting experience

　　SOX internal control assessments (Section 404) experience

　　Strong organization skills

　　Experience with ERP systems
