Construction vehicle manufacturer in Ephrata, PA looking for a Spray Technician. Candidate will work in painting department spraying vehicles to customer color specs, as well as applying any decals required. Laid back team in a shop setting. Position open due to company growth and needing to add an additional Spray Tech to their team!
1st shift: 6am - 2:30pm, Mon - Fri (sometimes will stay until 4:30pm when OT is required, not often)
Pay Range: $20-25/hr
Description:
The Spray Paint Technician is responsible for preparing and painting manufactured equipment and associated parts. Take on additional responsibilities to assist in other areas as needed and as assigned by management.
Primary Experience/Requirements:
• 2 years experience in auto or equipment painting
• Pressure wash, clean, sand and mask equipment and parts for painting.
• Basic comprehension of paint mix designs.
• Use pressure pots
• Be comfortable painting from ladders
• Able to apply scorpion bed liner inside bins
• Read spec sheet and be able to mix paint
• Great attention to detail
• Must be able to work independently, with little supervision
• Multitask painting jobs and meet deadlines
• General mechanical understanding
• Familiar with EPA, DEP, Hazmat and OSHA regulations
