Splunk Engineer

　　As a Splunk engineer on our project, you’ll be responsible for assisting with the onboarding, design, performance, implementation, and capacity of the Splunk platform. You’ll coordinate work with in-house teams to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate your customer’s IT needs and future goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions. We need to come up with the best solution, so you’ll investigate new techniques, break free from the legacy model, and go where the industry is going. You’ll lead the team through a critical approach to network design, providing alternatives and customizing solutions, to maintain a balance of security and healthcare needs. 　　Requirements:

　　• 7+ years of experience with Splunk engineering, administration, deployment, and maintenance for a large-scale network environment

　　• Experience with Linux and Windows environments

　　• Experience with interacting with customers configuration and optimization in Splunk

　　• Experience with using scripting languages to automate tasks and manipulate data

　　• Strong expertise understanding architecture and ability to create, modify, troubleshoot data queries through various data sources

　　• Knowledge of enterprise logging, including application, OS, and security technology logging

　　• Ability to obtain a security clearance

　　• HS Diploma or GED

　　Preferred:

　　• Experience with performing systems testing, including auto scaling configurations

　　• Experience with AWS and Azure Cloud

　　• Experience with working in a large enterprise environment

　　• Experience with COTS application support

　　• Experience with data life cycle support

　　• Experience with network security, system security, and supporting security information and event management (SIEM)

　　• Experience with infrastructure management and support and system administration in Windows and UNIX environments

　　• Experience with security tools, including Firewall, IDS, and Active Directory

　　• Splunk Administrator Certification
