  This position may be eligible for a $10,000 recruitment bonus.

  JOB SUMMARY

  The Speech-Language Pathologist provides evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of communication, cognitive/communication and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages. He/she makes appropriate referrals inside the institution and to outside agencies as appropriate.

  JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  EDUCATION

  For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

  Minimum Required: M.A. or M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology

  Preferred/Optional: None

  EXPERIENCE

  Minimum Required: None

  Preferred/Optional: Two years clinical experience.

  CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

  The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.

  Minimum Required: Current Wisconsin DRL Licensure/Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire.

  Preferred/Optional: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at of hire.

  Positions listed as 20 – 29 hours per week are offered the level 2 benefit package.
