　　Job Summary and Qualifications

　　The Speech Therapist provides high-quality, patient-centered care by developing and conducting individualized therapy programs for patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing impairments. As a member of the health care team, the Speech Therapist performs comprehensive patient assessments and establishes appropriate treatment goals. The Speech Therapist serves as an educator to patients, families, students and colleagues. If that is you, come be a part of what makes us great and apply today!

　　What you will do in this role:

　　Supervises treatment delivered by the students

　　Supervises volunteers

　　Helps coordinate daily activities of speech therapy services

　　Participates in program development, quality improvement and problem-solving activities

　　Documents the delivery of services according to facility and departmental standards

　　What qualifications you will need:

　　Current State licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State

　　ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or be CCC eligible

　　Current BLS

　　Master’s degree program in Speech and Language Pathology

　　Minimum one-year experience as a speech language pathologist

　　Recent graduates that are CFY eligible may be considered for the position

It has the most extensive Emergency Room and Level I Trauma Center in the Inland Empire region and is the primary recipient of STEMI (heart attack) cases in Riverside County.
