Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Autism Support Classrooms

　　AnthroMed is seeking a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who wants to support students with Autism who utilize AAC. 　　Location: Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania 

　　Type of Position: Full-time 

　　Students: K-5th, 9th-12th 

　　About the role: 

　　An anticipated caseload of approximately 40 students. 

　　Collaborate with key stakeholders regarding your students’ functional communication. 

　　Knowledge of AAC modalities and implementation techniques is highly preferred. 

　　Implement AAC and conduct interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure AAC implementation across services.  

　　Provide therapy using a variety of service delivery models including classroom push-in. 

　　Determine eligibility of students for speech therapy services and clearly identify necessary classroom accommodations. 

　　Provide appropriate speech and language intervention for eligible students. 

　　Participates in team meetings for the development of students’ individualized education programs. 

　　Completes relevant paperwork within required timelines per federal and state law, district policy, and procedures. 

　　Qualifications: 

　　School-based and/or pediatric experience. 

　　Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders. 

　　Valid PA SLP license from the Pennsylvania Board of Speech-Language Pathologists. 

　　Valid PA Education Specialist Certificate from the Pennsylvania Department of Education
