JOB REQUIREMENTS: Overview The Speech Language Pathologist isresponsible for the evaluation, planning and implementation of atreatment plan addressing the functional needs of a variety of patientdiagnoses. Responsibilities Integrates subjective and objective data toestablish a treatment plan. Utilizes exercise, physical agents, andmanual techniques to address deficits. Maintains a thorough record ofservices provided with appropriate coding and billing. Communicates withother disciplines and referring providers to enhance outcomes. Performsthorough and timely electronic documentation Strengths in care deliveryas evidenced by peer review feedback; consistently demonstrates advancedevaluation and treatment techniques Participates actively in the PI andCQI process Assists in the orientation, training and mentoring of newpartners Participates in cost saving initiatives within the departmentTakes an active role in the performance improvement process Maintain ahigh standard of patient care and provide effective communicationbetween speech language pathologists and the physician group Plans andconducts lectures and training programs on speech language pathology andrelated topics for medical staff, students and community groupsEducation and Experience Master\'s Degree from an accredited school ofSpeech Language Pathology Certification/Licensure Licensed as a SpeechLanguage Pathologist in WI Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) fromthe American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferredApproved CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days Validdriver\'s license is necessary to work in other locations or travel to apatient\'s home.
