Job Description
This position is responsible for supporting the Global Regulatory Risk Management function in its oversight of the Regulatory Compliance Management Program, specifically on the following areas below.
Key Accountabilities:
• Support the AVP of the Regulatory Risk Management function in ensuring that effective regulatory compliance management controls and processes are in place to comply with regulatory requirements.
• Keep the Global Function Compliance abreast of the new regulatory requirements, compliance issues and their business impact, alert them of risk areas, and recommend action to mitigate possible regulatory and reputation consequences and to coordinate with different segments and legal entities on regulatory updates.
• Provide support in regulatory compliance communication, reporting and sharing of information.
• Support Regulatory Compliance in monitoring, assessment, validation and communication of entries and updates in the Archer system.
• Contribute to the design or modification of reporting, data analytics and visualization requirements and processes related to Regulatory Compliance, to facilitate accurate and useful data collection while reducing the resourcing impact of reporting tasks on the different segments to the extent possible (mandate to reduce duplicative reporting requests);
• Provides other support to the Senior Manager of the ICS Regulatory Compliance CoE in the assessment and execution of centralized policy, standards, and guidance.
• Conduct trainings in Archer and other Regulatory Compliance Management Programs.
• Ad hoc assignments that may arise in support to Global Function Compliance, Regulatory Risk Management function, and Integrated Compliance Services
Job Requirements / Skills and Competencies:
• Good interpersonal skills, creative and open minded, willingness to learn and adaptive to change.
• Proven experience in Compliance, Legal, Risk, or Audit.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite of products including MS Word, Excel, Power Point.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel – use of formulas, macros, and report formatting.
• Knowledge or experience in data analytics and visualization tools such as PowerBI is preferred.
• Fluent in English, good English-language writing skills.
• Flexible and adaptable when dealing with change with a strong awareness and understanding of cultural diversity.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and make prompt decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Diligent in meeting given deadlines
• Strong eye for business, excellent judgement, and the ability to make decisions in times of uncertain.
• Proficiency in developing and writing policies and procedures.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance management programs and methodology.
Professional Experience:
• Professional knowledge in Compliance, Legal, Risk, or Audit.
• 3 to 4 years working experience in the Insurance, Asset Management, Banking or Financial Services.
• Experience in Regulatory Compliance is highly preferred.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree preferably in accounting, law, finance, business, or related fields
