　　Shift: Full -Time - Days, evenings, 40hrs. (depending on availability) (Occasional on-call and rotating weekends may be required)

　　Reviews and evaluat es developed x-rays, video tape , or computer-generated information to determine whether images are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes.

　　Takes thorough and accurate patient medical histories.

　　Explain s procedures, observes patients to ensure safety and comfort du ring scan, monitors conditions and reactions , and reports abnormal signs to a p hysician.

　　Positions and immobilizes patients on examining table.

　　Positions imaging equipment and adjusts controls to set e xposure time and distance.

　　Records, processes, and maintains patient data and treatment recor ds, and prepares reports.

　　Sets up examination rooms ensuring that necessary equipment is ready for use.

　　Performs scheduled maintenance and minor emergency repairs on radiographic equipment.

　　Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

　　Associate degree or equivalent in relevant field

　　Certification and Licensing:
