Job Description
As a Project Coordinator/Estimator, you will be creating project estimates, gathering parts data, working with vendors and clients, and formulating accurate manufacturing costs. As a Project Coordinator/Estimator, you must have above-average communication skills as most responsibilities evolve around direct or written communication with customers and vendors of broad backgrounds. Gather necessary data to formulate cost estimates for manufacturing projects. Individuals should be able to accurately access manufacturing costs for both internal and external work and to evaluate the costs of incoming quotes from various vendors.
Responsibilities:
• Review data and determine materials, labor, and process requirements.
• Make routine decisions independently.
• Understand when to elevate problems or decisions.
• Understand and be proficient in programs needed daily.
• Resolve issues that occur before or during the manufacturing cycle.
• Consult with customers, vendors, and other appropriate individuals to gather necessary data and formulate cost estimates with limited supervision.
• Prepare estimates and may ask for guidance to resolve projects of high complexity.
• Ability to learn new processes proficiently.
• Interact with experienced team members and managers to resolve complex problems, communicate, and share information, and expertise to support the ability to work more efficiently.
• Utilize skills needed to partner, negotiate, and coordinate efforts across a variety of disciplines.
• Strong understanding of funding approval processes and a working knowledge of project estimating systems.
• The ability to be flexible with job responsibilities and take the initiative to assume added responsibilities.
• Provide a high level of service with a strong customer focus and build effective relationships with supported teams.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve the efficiency of the department.
• Ability to manage capital expenses, POs, and purchases.
• Strong ability to manage metrics, KPIs, and metrics.
• Ability to be meticulous, follow complex procedures, and work with minimal supervision.
• Regularly exchange technical information with colleagues and managers.

Educational Requirements:
• AAS Degree or higher (or equivalent training in a related field).
• Knowledge of the semiconductor industry.
• 3 years of semiconductor industry experience.
Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of Microsoft programs, Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint…
• Understand SAP and Procurement processes.
• Strong ability to learn new software programs.
• Ability to learn new processes proficiently.
