The Assistant will have experience with Customer Serviceand a genuine interest in interfacing with and assisting our majorsupporters in order to foster positive relationships. We\'re looking fora candidate who brings enthusiasm for theatre that will carry over whilethey engage high level donors and enhance their theatre-going experienceand connection to our organization and events ranging from 4-persondinners to 400-person galas. They must be able to work effectively in afast-paced environment, while maintaining a positive attitude, and haveexcellent communication and customer service skills. PositionOverview: Assisting the development team with all aspects of specialevents execution - from designing and drafting invites to assisting withset-up, seating assignments, oversight of event time-line and budget andstaffing needs. Assistant facilities with whatever event needs arisefrom tending bar during the events to assisting with wrap-up and followup. This candidate will work in both front-of-house andbehind-the-scenes capacities in support of Barrington Stage Company\'sgreater fundraising events and goals.
