Job Description

An employer in the gasket and sealing manufacturing industry is seeking a Global FullStack Application Developer to join the team in developing software solutions in support of their business processes. This person will work in conjunction with 2 other Application Developers to work through a list of projects aimed at standardizing the companys applications from a global standpoint. They will develop new applications on the roadmap, rebuild and modernize legacy applications, build out dashboards, workflows for automation and support the day-to-day maintenance of these global applications. Key tasks this person will include clarifying requirements with users to ensure systems meet demands, system analysis work and recommending business process improvements, system development, testing, debugging, implementation, and documentation, as well as preparing and running test data to ensure software is correct before installation, in line with the companys change management policies and procedures. This person must also be comfortable traveling internationally potentially once a quarter for any major go-lives/projects. This position pays between 100K 120K, and this person will be expected to work onsite for the first month or so to ramp up, then they will have a fluid/flexible work schedule.

Skills and Requirements

4+ years experience as a fullstack application developer, specifically Java, .Net languages, specifically C#, SQL Server

Experience developing in .NET/C# (moving towards .NET Core) ASP.NET and ASP.NET Core

Experience with MS SQL Server and T-SQL, writing stored procedures, queries, user-defined functions

Front end programming experience with Angular framework, Javascript, HTML, CSS, XML/XSLT

Experience with Microsoft Development Tools, specifically Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio

Experience of developing and maintaining systems around standard packages

Experience in all or most stages of the system life cycle, including strict Change Management controls, ideally using DevOps or equivalent

Holds a strong business acumen preferably in manufacturing industry

Proven success developing applications from scratch and integrating them into ERPs

Comfortable with international travel a few times a year for major roll outs/go lives (US, China, Thailand, Mexico, Middle East, Australia, etc.) Experience with PHP

Java experience

Experience of QAD or other ERP systems

Exposure to Unix / Linux

ODBC Connectivity

Web services development skills

Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems

Experience of ELO or other document management and workflow systems

Experience of Cognos or other BI tools

Experience of Progress SQL Development within the QAD environment

Experience of EDI projects

Experience with NetSuite null
