　　   Des Moines Public Schools is seeking Special Education Consultants for the 2024-2025 school year.Job Summary:Provide ongoing support to special and general education instructional personnel delivering services to eligible individuals. Participate in the identification process and program planning of eligible individuals to attain the least restrictive environment. Please see attached job descripton for further information on functions of the position along with educational and experience requirements.Successful candidates for this position will possess:Valid Iowa Teaching License with Special Education Consultant Endorsement. Four years successful teaching experience with at least two years in special education. Highly Qualified Candidates for this position will possess:Five years successful teaching experiencePosition Details:Contract days vary by assignment7.75 hoursSalary schedule attached Candidates offered employment will be compensated based on skills, work experience and education.Des Moines Public Schools offers agenerous benefits packageincluding:IPERS
