　　QUALIFICATIONS:1. Certified on an employees medical examination form to be fully qualified in health for the position by a licensed physician.2. High School graduation including courses in English, Mathematics, and computer application3. Demonstrated competence in tasks assigned.4. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

　　REPORTS TO: Certified Special Education Personnel and Principal

　　JOB GOAL: To assist the special education teacher achieve teaching objectives by working with individual students or small groups.

　　PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Assists with tasks associated with the assigned student{s} curriculum2. Provides physical assistance for the assigned student{s} if indicated3. Monitors and/or accompanies the assigned student{s} as needed4. Establishes a supportive relationship with the assigned student{s}5. Serves as a resource person for the assigned student{s} evaluation team6. Assists with clerical tasks associated with the assigned student7. Other duties as assigned by the principal

　　TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Ten month year. Salary established by the Board.

　　EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated per contract language.
