　　GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to be part of our Systems Planning Corporation (SPC), a subsidiary company of GAI Consultants, Inc.  The Project Engineer is responsible for supporting the successful delivery of scope, schedule, budget, and quality for assigned projects. This position is in anticipation of more growth and is an evergreen position.  As such, the timeline to hire unknown and will be as needed.  If you are interested in this type of work, we encourage you to apply and we will reach out when we are ready to move forward.  It could be several months.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Supports scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety and profitability of all projects managed under the direction of the client.Supports project teams which may include engineering and field contractors.Supports projects that are typically time-sensitive, unique and /or complex, of significant magnitude, scope, and difficulty.May lead or support large project teams covering several disciplines with staff from more than one office and working in several locationsReviews project documents for clarity and completenessMonitors progress and provides periodic updates as requiredQualifications:5+ years of Project Engineering experienceStrong Communication skills (written and oral)Ability to collaborate and communicate with and garner support from key stakeholders and staffAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical reports and procedures, and governmental regulationsAbility to write reports and other business correspondenceAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the publicHas in-depth understanding of project goals, drivers, strategies, risks, and opportunities.Understands the company's businesses, competing projects, and profit impact of decisions.Demonstrate in-depth understanding of software as needed to successfully perform the duties described here, including MS Office Suite applications and software, document management systems, database software, HR Systems, internet software, and reporting tools related to databasesWork remotely with ability to travel to GAI and client office locations as needed.
