Our Mount Vernon, IL location is seeking Spare Parts / Storeroom Manager. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, is dependable and accountable.

  THE POSITION

  Supervise Maintenance Storeroom operations and employees to ensure that parts, tools, and materials are available to operating production departments, with minimum loss of production at minimum cost.

  Supervise and train Storeroom Supply Clerks and Storeroom Receiving Clerks.

  Supervise Electronics Lab and oversee on-site vendors.

  Responsible for the Security/Integrity of all storeroom property, and Storeroom Inventory Accountability.

  Maintain IMS and SAP for inventory descriptions, locations, updates, specs, etc.

  Perform ongoing Storeroom inventories, Storeroom Cycle Counts and annual physical inventory of the Storeroom.

  Maintain SAP/IMS record keeping and provide required reports.

  Expedite and procure parts and materials through Purchasing when Maintenance or Production emergencies arise.

  Maintain on-line Parts, Supply, and Material Catalogs.

  Keep parts, material, supplies available for maintenance and production during all working times.

  Keep storeroom neat, clean, and orderly.

  Keep the Maintenance Manager informed of problems that have occurred or are anticipated.

  Perform other duties as directed by the Maintenance Manager or Plant Engineer.

  Order and control all storeroom SAP Materials using MRP.

  Responsible for SSO (Stop Spendings on Spare) activities.

  Basic Qualifications

  AAS Degree or equivalent experience

  Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Continental is not able to offer visa support.

  Three to five years in Warehousing and Materials control (differential) or SAP, CEOS, and Purchasing experience.

  Preferred Qualifications

  Bachelors Degree in Relevant Field
