Payload and Ground Systems Division of the Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking an experienced Test Automation Software Engineer to be responsible for design, development, and maintenance of various test automation tools for our space payload products.
Responsibilities for a Test Automation Engineer include test software development and deployment, testing and troubleshooting of the test environment, reading error logs, and coordinate corrective actions with the product development team. Additional responsibilities may include an understanding of test plans, test procedures, test automation, test reports, and execution of integration test activities in System Integration Labs (SILs) or offsite locations.
Some examples of test software that you will be designing include factory test scripts for individual RF and digital circuit cards, design verification test (DVT) scripts for individual cards and integrated payloads, peripheral component emulators and simulators, data processing and visualization scripts.

The position requires candidates to be able to obtain and maintain DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance which requires United States Citizenship.

Salary Range 2: $115,400 - $173,200
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
