The selected applicantwill lead efforts related to NASA engineering services for nuclear thermalpropulsion (NTP), nuclear electric propulsion (NEP), and fissionsurface power (FSP). The compensation for this positionis expected to be between $120,0000-$190,000 and is commensurate withexperiencResponsibilities:*Lead a small team of nuclear engineers providing technical mentorship andreview.*Provide strategic vision for current and future work.*Support business development to grow business areas related to nuclearsystems.*Support interview and hiring for team members.*Perform technical analysis on par with PhD level research and analysis.*Publish reports, papers and articles on findings.*Participate in customer meetings and presentations.Requirements:*A Bachelor's degree in Nuclear / Systems Engineering or other relatedfield.Advanced degrees are highly desired but not required.*Minimum 10+ years of experience with research, design, and developmentof advanced nuclear power systems.*Demonstrated ability to lead highly technical teams and independently managetasks.*Technical writing experience and the ability to communicate complex technicalconcepts to a diverse multi-disciplinary team/audience. Ability toindependently communicate with and interface with government customers orstakeholders.*U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Residency
