  Job Description Summary

  The Sourcing Specialist-Power Plant Parts Fulfillment will be responsible for defining fulfillment strategy for material requests raised via Installation Parts Requests (IPR) from installation sites from all over the world. Need to work with all related departments (Site, Project management, Engineering and Logistics and Genpact team) to coordinate material requests. Act as primary contact towards internal customers, participate on customer meetings, manage IPR escalations, work closely with Genpact Sourcing Specialist, lead the discussions related to deviation requests (technical or commercial) indicated by vendors during RFQ stage.

  Roles and Responsibilities

  Manage the Installation Parts Requests (IPR) received in Powernow and identify supplier best fits to requested scope(HRSG/BOP/Core Product).

  Actively work on IPR escalation cases, define fulfillment strategy , work with vendors on expediting request, check availability within other Gas Power locations or PO swap opportunities with other departments.

  Work as primary contact towards internal customers / installation sites.

  Take the lead on finding solution for deviation requests coming from vendors (commercial or technical) together with Supplier Quality or Strategic Commodity Leaders.

  Manage Non Conformances (NCR) related to IPR cases.

  Provide status update to Installation sites on weekly basis or as requested.

  Follow up IPR status with Cross functional teams (Logistics/Procurement).

  Drive continuous improvement projects.

  Continuously monitor related KPIs.

  Required Qualifications

  Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with 3 years’ experience sourcing, vendor management or materials management OR high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years’ experience sourcing, vendor management or materials management.

  Experience working in ERP and cloud-based applications, such as SAP, Oracle, Smartsheet, ServiceNow.

  Desired Characteristics

  Bachelor’s degree in technical or engineering or supply chain area.

  Power Plant knowledge or experience.

  Strong oral and written communication skills.

  Ability to work in team and cross-functionally.

  Self-directed and ability to prioritize.

  Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.

  Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.

  Established project management skills.

  The salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.

  T his position is also eligible for 10 % performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. ​

  *The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.

  This posting is expected to close on Feb.9, 2024 or when suitable candidate identified.
