　　Summary:

　　Provides advanced technical skills in performing a variety of non-invasive tests used in the diagnosis and treatment of vascular disease. Testing includes: carotid duplex ultrasound imaging, arterial duplex imaging, venous duplex imaging and Doppler ultrasound. Testing is performed to evaluate patients suspected of having peripheral vascular disease. Upholds the standards of the system-wide customer service program.

　　Qualifications:

　　Required:High school diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam.BLS Certification from the AHA, or obtains within 90 days of employment.Meets one of the following:• Graduate of an ARDMS accredited school of ultrasound/cardiovascular techniques and ARDMS Certified as a Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) or obtains certification within one year of employment.• Graduate of an approved, non-ADRMS accredited school of ultrasound/cardiovascular techniques and ARDMS Certified as a Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) or obtains certification within 2 years of employment.Preferred:One year experience performing peripheral vascular imaging
