As a ConnectureDRX Solutions Engineer, you will consult with Health Plans and Multicarrier agencies to develop a deep understanding of their current business needs, processes and technical landscape, and make product recommendations based on their business needs. Develop and deliver presentations and product demonstrations. You will work closely with product to deliver customer and prospect feedback and meet with the team regularly to understand any new products/updates being delivered. You will be responsible for agent training within the Connecture customer base and heavily influence agent adoption of the technology platform.Scope of LeadershipThe Solution Engineer position is a career-development position within the field, reporting to the multicarrier segment leader but supporting both multicarrier and healthplan sales teams.The essential responsibilities of the Solutions Engineer are described below.Work in tandem with Connectures Account Executives and Sales Directors to develop and deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations.Lead all product demonstrations and serve as the product subject matter expert on client calls and in-person meetings.Responsible for all product questions and f/u proceeding demonstrations and meetings with clients and prospects.Own and manage RFP response process and work cross functionally to complete all sections of client RFP/RFIs.Provides training for both Health Plan SME's and large agency partners in increase utilization of ConnectureDRX solutions.Partner with the Product Development and User Interface Design Teams to maintain and enhance the company's sales demo instances to keep up with product releases and create the best possible external imageWork closely with Product Management to distill marketplace requirements into product enhancementsEffectively and professionally represent Connecture and our products to both technical and non-technical audiences.Travel nationwide 20-50%, including short notice travel. Must be willing to travel more, as needed, during peak times.QualificationsA BS/BA Degree or equivalent work experience2 years of client facing experience within and/or knowledge of the insurance industry/marketplace, with an emphasis on the health insurance industry.Skills/ Experience RequiredPresentation skills, written and verbal communication skills, and technical aptitudeManage multiple, complex sales opportunities simultaneously.Self-starter, highly organized, with the ability to work in a dynamic environmentDeliver value propositions to customers senior staff and navigate all key functions within large customer organizations (e.g. Sales, IT, Finance, etc)Understanding of SAAS solutions and APIs, with an overview of CRM solutionsListen empathetically, ask probing questions, speak clearly and control a large audienceTeam player, provides executive level quality presentations with SalesMS office tools, including PowerPointTypes of Equipment:PCs and various software applicationsWork Environment/Physical Demands:Remote positionSitting 75% of timeNo special physical demand requiredAbility to travel 50%Salary:$60,000 - $75,000 USD
