4 Architect roles

Hybrid- 3 days on site from Jacksonville Florida, Plano Texas, Richmond Virginia, and Kennesaw Georgia

• 40% of work will be building relationship with developers, understanding what issues we have today, app flow at top, know projects that are coming

• First 3 months is learning what is allowed in the Bank

o Need markets/consumer experience?

o Need proactive mindset!!!!

• They will have design principles set and already solutioned when they go to teams to build out

• Communication is crucial here

• Most apps sit on Red Hat, 3 out of 4 role - come from RH background and 1 person will be Windows based

• DESIGN - dev team says this is how app works and how it will connect with teams, need interpret that and come up with infra blueprint (hardware, memory, storage, middleware, etc - don't need to be SME here but need to know what/how and have those convos)

o When stuck, go to work with someone to get the knowledge and ask questions

o Have app knowledge but don’t need to have been a developer

• This team hands over design over to another team to build (solution engineers)

Additional Skills Qualifications:

• Web hosting / web administration knowledge/experience (Apache, J2EE, Java, JBoss, WebSphere Application Server, MQ, RHEL, NoSQL, Kafka, Tomcat, Linux, Windows)

• Broad understanding of infrastructure requirements for heavily integrated enterprise

• Developer experience (Java, ASP, .Net, Scripting, Ansible Tower) a plus

• Knowledge of database technologies and interfaces- NoSQL, Oracle (RAC), GoldenGate replication technologies

• Understanding of Network infrastructure (HTTP, TCP, DNS, F5 Load-balancers, DataPower, firewalls, proxies, B2B links, mTLS)
