　　Mission Technologies a division of HII Cyber & Engineering team is seeking an Information Technology (IT) professional for the role of Intermediate Software Systems Engineer in support of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Unified Cyber Situational Awareness (UCSA) program. The Intermediate Software Systems Engineer will provide Operations and Maintenance, as well as Development and Integration of Software and Advance Analytics in support of the UCSA platform.

　　This is a Hybrid - remote role and requires a Secret Level clearance. Primary Location - Pensacola, Florida

　　Secondary Location - Linthicum, Maryland

　　Responsibilities

　　Under minimal direction:

　　Provides specialized expertise within multiple systems, software disciplines, as well as general knowledge of related disciplines, applications implications, and customer areas.

　　Responsible for performing in-depth analysis and technical support of systems software products, including complex problem resolution, design, development, testing, operational integration, and user support.

　　Assists in the planning and conversion for new hardware/software products.

　　Maintains currency, debugs and configures related software products.

　　Provides operating systems planning and evaluation for performance analysis, capacity planning and hardware upgrades.

　　Works from specifications to develop or modify operating systems applications.

　　Assists with design, coding, benchmark testing, debugging and documentation of programs.

　　Interfaces with other system support groups to resolve problems, setting standards and improving overall efficiency of the operating system.

　　Designs, codes, tests and implements tools for operations automation.

　　Works on most phases of software systems programming applications and may require instruction and guidance in other phases.

　　Minimum Qualifications

　　5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field;

　　3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field;

　　0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field

　　High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.

　　A DoD 8570 IAT Level II approved certification (Security +CE) is required.

　　Advanced JavaScript (and ideally experience with at least one front-end framework like Angular or React)

　　Basic object-oriented development skills (any language should be fine)

　　Strong relational database thinking/skills

　　Strong verbal/written communication (candidate will need to interface with the customer and users)

　　Clearance: Must posses an active Secret clearance to be considered

　　Python

　　Angular (modern), advanced JavaScript, RXJS/NGRX

　　Java/Spring/Maven OR Scala

　　Postgres - strong relational thinking, database skills — a good proxy

　　ElasticSearch/Kibana skills

　　Experience with distributed systems
