　　As a Software Test Engineer for our DXi backup product, you'll design,develop, and run system and functional software/hardwarefeature/component and qualification tests. You'll also work on thedesign, development, and execution of performance tests.Job responsibilities included but not limited to:* Functional and system-level testing on a variety of platforms, setting upsystem configurations (hardware and software), and test automation.* Develop and implement all system and functional test plans for the productto ensure correctness and performance - especially for new features andfunctionality as well as hardware qualifications.* Work closely with the development and sustaining groups to document,diagnose, and correct problems.* Qualification and performance testing of file and storage systems. Generatereports for a given task for projects and assignments on a regular basis.Job Requirements* Technical:- Knowledge and experience in storage array hardware components andconfiguration.- Networking experience.- Linux (RHEL and SUSE), Windows, AIX, HP-UX, Mac OS.- C++, Python, Perl, UNIX scripting languages.- System administration experience.- Source Code Management (Git, SVN etc.).- Jira and Agile methodology.- Library and Tape Drive experience (Quantum, STK, IBM, HP, etc.).- Storage management that includes SAN, DLC, and NAS technologies.- SAN, Fibre Channel, SCSI, ISCSI, APIs, Ethernet, RAID, tape systems.* Education: BS or MS degree in Computer Science, ElectricalEngineering, Computer Engineering, or Math preferred.* Experience:- 5+ years experience.- Strong programming skills in perl, python and testing automation.- Candidates must have a strong engineering testing background in high endstorage and/or shared or parallel file systems.- Must have excellent verbal and written English communication skills.- Ability to have extreme focus on test automation, and test development.
