　　BAE Systems is looking for an experienced, hands-on Software Engineer Lead. The qualified candidate will lead a multi-disciplinary team that works in a rapid development environment. The qualified candidate should have experience with software languages such as Java, C , C#, Web Services, XML, WSDLs; software architectures; and managing, planning, and coordinating software design and development efforts.

　　The qualified candidate will have the opportunity to work with platforms and mission applications for intelligence and defense customers with domain emphasis on Geospatial Intelligence, Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR), and Mission Management.

　　Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed fulltime on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

　　Required Education, Experience, & Skills

　　Bachelor's Degree or higher in a computer related field

　　10 years of software design, code and test experience

　　US Citizenship with an active Secret clearance is required

　　Have the ability obtain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance

　　Strong software architecture, design, and development experience using Java.

　　Software development, coding, and debugging experience across the entire development lifecycle

　　Experience with version control systems, such as Git

　　Experience with Agile development and issue tracking systems, such as Azure DevOps or Jira

　　Experience with software build tools, such as Visual Studio and Eclipse

　　Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders

　　Experience with team leadership and mentoring roles

　　Experience in managing, planning, and coordinating software development efforts

　　Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

　　Experience with Agile software development

　　Experience with ArcGIS APIs

　　Experience with SQL

　　Experience with continuous development using Git and Gradle

　　Experience with Kafka messaging

　　Experience with MS Windows and Office products

　　Experience in Java, C# and C

　　Experience with Web Services, XML, WSDL

　　Experience with SecDevOps and CI/CD pipelines

　　Security Certification

　　SAFeAgile framework or concepts

　　Pay Information

　　Full-Time Salary Range: $136620 - $232210

　　Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
