Position Summary

　　Deloitte is looking for an experienced technical resource with hands-on development and troubleshooting experience and the ability to lead technical implementation efforts for digital product implementations.

　　Work You'll Do:

　　The Software Engineer develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements. Works individually or as part of a team. Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results. Resolves software problem reports. Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment. Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.

　　Technical Bachelor's Degree requiredActive Top-Secret (TS/SCI) with Polygraph security clearance requiredIn-depth technical Subject Matter Expertise and skills in AWS Cloud Infrastructure and AWS JavaExperience using Python with Apache Spark with Scala and Apache AnacondaExperience with container platforms such as Docker, OpenShift, and KubernetesExperience with Continuous Integration and DevOpsExperience architecting and developing efficient solutions to address complex business problemsProven ability to lead client discussions and drive client demosExperience engaging with, coordinating with, and presenting key solution components to other key implementation stakeholdersMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.Must be willing to be onsite regularly in the DC area for this role.Ability to travel 20 - 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve (travel not expected for this particular project)
