About the team:
The team you will be working with is an agile scrum team focused on building aDeveloper Portal, a web application that provides our business partners withself-service access to APIs, interactive documentation, and the ability tocreate customized payment experiences. The development team has been formedfor 2 years, has launched a successful product, and is working this yearon expanding the product and adding functionality.

In this role, you will be developing code, providing code reviews, andworking across technologies in a lead API development role. Our stack includesan Angular frontend web application, Apigee API Gateway, EnterpriseSwagger Hub for API contract governances, and AWS-deployed servicesincluding S3, Lambdas, DynamoDB, and Cognito). You will be a criticalrole on our agile scrum team.
API Developer who develops and tests software systems or applications forsoftware enhancements and new products.Participate end-to-end in the product development lifecycle: requirementsgathering, analysis, solution design, development, code reviews,testing and implementation using Agile methodologies, and demoing successfulcode releases.Participate in peer discussions and contributes to application architecture.Communicate project status and deliverables between several stakeholdersincluding product managers, project managers and engineers.Review design and code from your peers, fix bugs, and troubleshootoperational issues as they occur.Write code and perform testing and debugging of applications using Java andvarious Spring technologies.Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.May deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical andbusiness groups to internal and/or external audiences.
What you bring: (VISA Sponsorship Not Available)Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent work experience:8+ years of development experience building secure, modular, APIapplications using Java, JavaScript and Spring technologies.Development experience in building proxies and managing the organization andenvironments in Apigee API GatewayAWS Cloud development experience (Lambda, S3, Cognito, DynamoDB,serverless architecture).Backend development experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot,RESTAPIs, and Relational and/or No-SQL Databases (Postgres, MySQL,MongoDB, Cassandra). DynamoDBExperience writing unit and integration test cases using Junit, Spring cloudcontracts and other.Demonstrated experience in leading/mentoring team members.Experience working collaboratively using Agile/Scrum methodology.Should be able to work with minimal supervision.Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Added bonus if you have:Experience with other technologies is a plus:AWS certification is a plus.Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD processPostman

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting careeropportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-timeposition is $127,440.00 - $214,100.00 and reflects the minimum andmaximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the postedrole, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual startingpay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills,experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in worklocation will also impact actual individual starting pay.
