　　World Travel Holdings is seeking aremote Software Engineer with Java development experience. This role will be responsible for creating and maintaining cutting-edge web-based applications, and support of legacy applications.

　　Responsibilities

　　Design and develop clear and comprehensive back-end solutions

　　Participate in design discussions, prototype development and code reviews

　　Ability to work in an agile team environment, and collaborate cross-functionally in sprints

　　Ability to manage priorities and schedules, including timely task updates for the project team

　　Comply with coding and project standards and processes

　　Debug and troubleshoot existing code, and determine optimum solutions when required

　　Keep abreast of the latest developments in Enterprise Java and open-source technologies; share knowledge with the team and propose adoption of new technologies

　　Support applications in QA and production environments

　　Qualifications

　　Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with 2+ years of Java experience

　　Experience with Spring Framework or JEE

　　Experience with creating and consuming RESTful web services with JSON

　　Experience with Linux

　　Working knowledge of Oracle database SQL and JDBC using HQl and/or JPQL

　　Practical, in-depth knowledge of the fundamentals of object-oriented design and programming

　　Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving ability

　　Very strong, delivery focused work ethic that takes ownership and produces results

　　Ability to multitask and switch tracks as needed

　　Solid verbal and written communication skills

　　Ability to cultivate and maintain collaborative relationships within the team and the enterprise at large
