About The Job BILT is seeking a Software Engineer (iOS) to join our growing Engineering team and build out the next generation of our platform. We are looking for a talented and experienced iOS Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will develop and maintain high-quality iOS applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, and continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Key Responsibilities Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. Work on bug fixing and improving application performance. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality software development. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Maintain code integrity and organization. Requirements BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field required with 3-5 years of experience. Proven working experience in software development. 2 + years Working experience in iOS development (Swift and Objective-C). Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, ARKit, RealityKit, etc. Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning. Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services. Knowledgeable of application and system architecture, UI/UX, networking and performance optimization Eye for design, a strong sense of user experience and a high level of craftsmanship High level of experience working on consumer-facing products, writing both UI & business/backend logic Insight of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines. Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools. Knowledge of cloud message APIs and push notifications. Expertise in benchmarking and optimization. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git. Experience with continuous integration. Due to contractual agreement a US Citizenship or permanent residency is required.
