Software Engineer Intern

　　What you'll achieve

　　Unstructured and Secondary Storage (USS) Division is in the business of transforming the way data is stored. At the forefront of the big data movement, our highly parallelized, distributed architecture has completely redefined the storage model. The successful candidate of this position will start as an intern to work in USS Platform Engineering team, playing critical role in delivering cutting edge Storage Array Platform software.

　　You will:

　　Actively engage in Next GEN Platform development.Feature test and integration, issue/problem solving.Test development.Tools support and maintenance.

　　Essential Requirements

　　Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar.Interest and passion in dealing with Hardware components (CPU, Memory, Drive and Peripheries).Experience/knowledge on software quality assurance and automation.Proficient in at least one programming language: C, C++, Python, ShellFamiliar with Linux/Unix administration.

　　Desirable Requirements

　　A plus if you have knowledge and expertise in following areas: Storage protocols (NFS, CIFS, iSCSI/FC, SAS, NVMe, PCIe), storage technologies (SAN, NAS, RAID), networking, clustering.A plus if you have worked with HW platform testing (CPU, Memory, PCIe); HW component trouble shooting, integration; OS installation & upgrade.Experience with Git, Jenkins, JIRA.
