Robert Half, Inc. seeks Software Engineer III in San Ramon, CA:

　　Job Duties: Develop software code for end-user applications and design business solutions. Implement SDLC documentation and procedures for all phases of the software development lifecycle. Develop and modify individual modules and components within the larger system architecture utilizing programming and scripting languages. Interact with users to define system requirements and modifications. Support launched applications in the production environment. Develop complex modules and components of larger system designs. Code middleware and front-end applications and performing code reviews. Engage in design reviews, analyze, and resolve production issues, and provide feedback for process improvements. Perform unit tests, planning, and execution for software code validation, as well as review unit test plans and results. Utilize approval authority for unit and integration test strategies and plans. Analyze and resolve significant production interruptions classified as SWAT production issues. Analyze and resolve highly complex production issues defining approach and guidelines as required to resolve the issue. Define the integration test strategy, planning and analyzing, and resolving complex production issues. Telecommuting permitted: work may be performed from anywhere in the U.S.

　　Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

　　Special Skill Requirements:

　　Two years of experience in implementation and support of desktop applications. Development/Design and implementation of Core HR, Benefits, Time & Labor, Absence Management, Payroll, GL. Customize/Develop PeopleSoft Objects in the areas of HCM using People Tools objects (Pages, Records, Menus, Application Packages, PeopleCode) and perform support activities for system testing, integration testing and performance testing of the build. Build, enhance and fix issues in the desktop application, process, integrations, interfaces (internal and vendor interfaces) using SQR and Application Engine. Web Services (SOAP and REST) and Object-Oriented languages, including XML, SQL and PL/SQL for data processing. Data Conversion strategy, planning, development, and testing between different ERP systems.
