About Solution Architect - LLM and Robotics

  NVIDIA’s ISAAC platform, powered by GPU computing and deep learning, is starting to make a significant impact to the field of robotics, with broad adoption increasing across leading academic institutions, start-ups, and industry, including the world’s largest manufacturing companies.   We are now looking for a Robotics Solutions Architect - a trusted technical advisor and leader to our customers who believe that deep learning, 3D simulation, and generative AI is a new computing revolution and has the potential to transform the robotics industry. This role requires an outstanding engineer able to engage with developers, researchers, and start-ups, in multiple, impactful Robotics projects. We need an individual who can enable customer productivity and develop positive relationships with our technology partners, making NVIDIA an integral part of end-user solutions.

  What you’ll be doing:

  As part of the Japan Solution Architecture team, your role will be to drive NVIDIA technology adoption and secure design wins at key customers in Data Center, Edge and Cloud Deployments.

  Be a technical expert with vision on (1) integrating NVIDIA’s ISAAC platform into robot development and simulation architectures to support various robotics applications, and (2) building Large Language Model + Retrieval Augmented Generation (LLM+RAG) applications to function as chatbots/copilots for robots. This would include creating reference architectures and demos to integrate best practices around computational efficiency & performance, security, and scalability.

  Support the business development team in guiding the customer through the sales process for NVIDIA’s GPU computing and 3D simulation products. Be responsible for the technical relationship and assist customers in building creative solutions based on NVIDIA technology.

  Engage with customers to develop a keen understanding of their goals, strategies, and technical needs, and help to define and deliver high-value solutions that meet these needs.

  Partner with NVIDIA Engineering, Product, Sales teams to secure design wins at customers. Enable development and growth of NVIDIA product features through customer feedback and PoC evaluations.

  Gather and share best-practice knowledge among the NVIDIA solutions architect community.

  What we need to see:

  BS, MS or PhD in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science.

  4+ years of relevant industry experience in robotics development and validation (HW/SW design), and simulation software. ROS/ROS2 development experience is required.

  Experience with 3D engines for robotic simulation (e.g. NVIDIA PhysX/Flow, Unity, Unreal Engine, Gazebo), their 3D data formats (e.g. FBX, OBJ, gITF, USD, URDF, STEP), and corresponding workflows (stereo visual SLAM, LIDAR localization & collision avoidance, motion planning & navigation, AprilTag processing, point cloud processing).

  C/C++/Python programming.

  Enjoy collaborating with teams across the organization such as Engineering/Research, Sales, Product, and Marketing.

  Effective verbal/written communication in English & Japanese, and technical presentation skills.

  Self-starter with passion for growth, enthusiasm for continuous learning and sharing findings across the team.

  Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  Technical domain expertise and experience in robotics development, simulation, automation, embedded systems, and/or LLM+RAG application development.

  Development experience with NVIDIA ISAAC platform.

  Development experience with GPU computing, CUDA programming, deep learning and/or reinforcement learning.

  External, customer-facing skillset and background. Experience working directly with Vendors or OEMs to build robotics applications.
