　　The Realtime Platform powers business starting from Realtime data collection, to data processing which enables Data Scientists and ML Engineers for analytics, to out-of-box realtime feature and signal generation providing customers a personalized experience. The platform provides a complete solution including infrastructure and framework using open-source technologies such as Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, Apache Spark. The solution also offers Realtime insights as a product integrated with in-house services and OLAP such as Apache Pinot. The team consists of a mix of experienced veterans of stream processing from prestigious companies and some inspiring and passionate budding streaming engineers.

　　You will report into the engineering manager on our Realtime Streaming Platform team in our Data Platform organization. Once our offices reopen, we expect this role to be hybrid with some time in-office and some time remote.

　　Work on the new initiative building a platform to power DoorDash customer's personalized experience along with Data Engineering, Ads, Marketing, and Growth teams

　　Work with our Data Analysts, Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and Data Infrastructure engineers to collaborate on meaningful projects that need Realtime data

　　Help build Realtime streaming platform that can evolve to handle new technologies, techniques, and modeling approaches

　　Expand the infrastructure and tech stack supporting rapid international expansion

　　We're excited about you because you have…

　　Experience working on big data domains (streaming, batch, data lake and/or OLAP) and promoting Realtime data analytics at scale using technologies such as Apache Kafka, Flink, Spark, Druid, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, etc.

　　B.S., M.S., or PhD. in Computer Science or equivalent

　　Knowledge of CS fundamental concepts and OOP languages

　　2+ years of industry experience

　　Systems Engineering - you've built meaningful pieces of infrastructure in a cloud computing environment, and can operate on Kubernetes environments in production at scale.

　　Familiar with a cloud-based environment such as AWS

　　The location-specific base salary range for this position is listed below. Compensation in other geographies may vary.

　　Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, base salary is localized according to employee work location. Please discuss your intended work location with your recruiter for more information.
