　　Product Line Cost Senior Manager will identify and lead product line initiatives to enable ongoing product competitiveness. The cost manager will be responsible for monitoring/reporting product costs, site cost reduction management, capital project oversite, and partnering cross-functionally on delivery results.

　　This is a hybrid position located in Rockford, IL. Time spent onsite will be discussed your manager.

　　May be eligible for relocation.

　　Primary Responsibilities:

　　Monitor and Report Product Cost

　　Deep dive cost drivers during standards roll process identifying risks and opportunities.

　　Forward outlook on expiring supplier contracts identifying risks and opportunities.

　　Perform contractual cost assessments (Buy American Act) and “what-if” scenarios

　　Product Cost Reduction Management

　　Develop, prioritize, and execute cost reduction projects in conjunction with Product & Customer Value Stream.

　　Oversite of CAPEX projects

　　Focal point for Plant 1 CAPEX projects

　　Long term planning for site growth/improvement

　　Site Cost Reduction Management

　　Develop, prioritize, and execute cost reduction projects in conjunction with site manager, operations director, and finance team.

　　Provide direction to site CORE/IE lead on areas of focus and Kaizen events.

　　Coordinate insourcing opportunities into Global Operations sites.

　　Oversite of ongoing casting projects focusing on schedule and budget adherence

　　Casting supplier changes.

　　Product redesign to eliminate casting need.

　　Qualifications/ Experience Needed:

　　Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.

　　U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　Cost Reduction Experience.

　　Mechanical Engineering degree preferred, but not required.

　　SAP experience.

　　The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
