  Splunk's Integration Platform team is passionate about developing and extending self-service tools, utilities and capabilities that enable API producers and consumers with an efficient, secure, and scalable API lifecycle to facilitate rapid time to market for reusable APIs. The team is actively seeking a Software Engineer with an analytical mind and passion for building and enhancing tools and frameworks that improves developer efficiency.   What you'll get to do

  Work closely with architects, product managers and Mulesoft engineers to help expand our strong set of API led capabilities to super-charge our business.Create and maintain frameworks that encapsulate solutions to common problems as well as build tools that speed up iteration and troubleshooting.Work closely with the Enterprise Integrations/API management teams and discover common development pain points and untapped potential for improvements to frameworks and tooling.Be challenged with identifying innovative ideas and proof of concepts to deliver against the existing and future needs of our customers derived on a set of strong engineering principlesBe responsible for the upkeep of integration standards & toolset by performing code and design reviews with a senior team member, and implement automated tests that others can understand, maintain, and expandParticipate in various Scrum ceremonies as a member of the agile teamContribute to the core integrations platform team by sharing knowledge, and keeping up with the new trends and best practices as they evolve in the industryMust-have Qualifications

  5+ years of solid experience developing and enhancing frameworks and tools preferably in system integration or API realm.2+ years of experience with a public cloud (AWS or GCP) and solid understanding of cloud-native servicesSolid software engineering principles and development experience using object oriented programming and scripting languages(Java, Python, Golang, Nodejs etc.)Experience with DevOps ( CI/CD tools, Kubernetes, Docker etc.) and observability toolsExperience with test automation tools and utilitiesExperience working with Agile methodologies such as SCRUM or KanbanSolid verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated collaboration skills working with multiple teams across disciplinesHighly motivated and self-starter who is quick and open to adapt to new technologiesNice-to-have Qualifications

  Hands-on experience with the MuleSoft Runtime in ClouduhbExperience with pub sub/event frameworksKnowledge of Splunk productsEducation: Got it!

  Note:

  Base Pay Range

  Costa Rica

  Base Pay: CRC 26,400,000.00 - 36,300,000.00 per year

  Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
