　　Lead Software Engineer, UKG Inc., Santa Ana, CA (Hybrid)

　　Description

　　Will serve as a key contributor in the design and development of new features, with a passion for building high-quality and easily maintainable software solutions. Including customer-facing web and mobile applications. Will deploy and release containerized microservices to the Cloud, and own the software development lifecycle end-to-end. Specific duties will include:

　　• Designing and developing back-end architecture to industry standards.

　　• Leading multiple feature projects, coordinating and delegating tasks to engineering team members.

　　• Collaborating with Product team on requirements analysis and software project planning.

　　• Facilitating and executing team process improvements towards company objectives.

　　• Mentoring junior engineers on areas of expertise, providing guidance and training to promote productivity and growth.

　　• Supporting on-call rotation for resolving customer issues, triaging automated tests failures, fixing critical bugs by analytical thinking and debugging in a timely manner.

　　Position requires either (i) a Bachelor's degree (or an equivalent foreign degree) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT or a closely related field and 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer or (ii) a Master's degree (or an equivalent foreign degree) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT or a closely related field and 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer. Must also have had 3 years of experience (which can have been gained with either primary experience requirements above) working with the following:

　　• Developing web applications using Angular with Typescript, GraphQL, HTML, and CSS;

　　• Developing production-ready RESTful API microservices using Spring Boot with Java or Kotlin;

　　• Designing with event-driven architectural patterns using messaging platforms including Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ;

　　• Designing and implementing on SQL/NoSQL database technologies, including MySQL or MongoDB;

　　• Writing unit/integration/end-to-end tests for software applications using quality assurance technologies including JUnit, Jasmine, or Cypress; and

　　• Developing and deploying with containerization technologies including Docker or Kubernetes.

　　This is a hybrid position working 3 days/week at the UKG office in Santa Ana, California and 2 days/week at a home office.

　　 Pay Transparency for Colorado, New York, Washington and California

　　The pay range for this position in Colorado, New York, Washington and California is $XX to $XX (or $XX), however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
