We are the Windows Servicing and Delivery (WSD) organization, which is a part of E+D division. Our core mission is to keep customers protected and productive by delivering a seamless and timely servicing experience for our customers in existing and future versions of Windows.

　　Our Customer Focused Engineering (CFE) team is looking for highly motivated Software Engineers to help us in this mission. You will play a key role in extending and modifying Windows Operating system code for keeping our customer base secure, improving the reliability of the platform, addressing customer reported issues, building data insights, and developing features to light up new scenarios and devices in the Windows ecosystem (PCs, Phones, Servers, SurfaceHub, Hololens, Azure and more). We are energetic, agile, results oriented, very friendly and kind group of developers and project managers working on making Windows and the world secure and productive!

　　Responsibilities

　　Reproducing,debuggingand fixingcustomer-reported problems.

　　Fixing externally and internallyfound security vulnerabilities and all the potential variants.

　　Crafting high-quality, bug-freefixes with minimum application compatibility risk.

　　Prioritizing your collection of work and delivering fixes in a timely fashionto meet deadlines.

　　Collaborating with escalation engineers and other partner teams across Microsoft to debug, develop, test and ship updates.

　　Finding ways to improve products, tools, and processes for long-term benefitfor Microsoft and customers.

　　Qualifications

　　4+ years of professional software development experience.

　　Proven design and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on quality and engineering excellence.

　　Ability to understand unfamiliar code bases, and debug server-side, multi-threaded, and highly scalable applications.

　　Proven communication skills, both verbal and written.

　　The ability to work well in a diverse, global, team-focused environment.

　　BS in Computer Science or equivalent preferred.

　　Experience with relevant programming skills in C#, C++ or equivalent

　　Experience in working with Operating system level programming and developing device drivers.

　　Demonstrated results working with a global team

　　Experience with agile/scrum methodologies
