Software Engineer – NIKE, Inc., Beaverton, OR. Develop, code/configure, test programs, and solve problems in order to meet defined digital product specifications and direction. Use best practice and knowledge of internal and external business challenges to improve products, processes, and services. Interpret customer needs, assess requirements and identify solutions to non-standard requests. Involved in system design, capacity planning, operations, maintenance implementation and sustainment activities across development, staging and production environment. Work with engineering teammates to make technology assessments in support of automaton and technology migration initiatives. Accountable for small projects and programs with manageable risks and resource requirements. Monitor and control own costs of work and may manage costs for small projects or programs. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., except from AK, AL, AR, DE, HI, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MT, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, RI, SD, VT, WV, and WY.

　　Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Digital Sciences and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.

　　Experience must include:

　　Java;

　　Front end Javascript libraries;

　　AWS;

　　NoSQL Databases;

　　Microservice architecture;

　　Object oriented programming;

　　Jira; and

　　Confluence.
