Description:

　　As a software engineer for Submarine Combat Systems, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for delivering advanced mission capabilities to the US and Australian submarine forces.

　　We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: software development or advanced Python/bash scripting; Red Hat/CentOS Linux Proficiency; Kubernetes or other container orchestration/PaaS/Cloud technologies

　　Strong understanding of software development process, as well as software engineering concepts, principles, and theories

　　Creative thinker capable of applying new information quickly to solve challenging problems

　　Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success

　　Certifications: one or more of Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), Certified Kubernetes Admin (CKA), and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

　　BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

　　Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.

　　Also requires 3+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree.

　　Agile experience preferred.

　　CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. MUST BE ABLE TO OBTAIN SECURITY CLEARANCE.
