Software Engineer (Java)

　　Cornerstone OnDemand is looking for strong engineers with excellent technical and communication skills to be part of the team that develops our enterprise solutions. They will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of our products as well as mentoring staff members. They will be part of the core product development team that spans multiple locations.

　　In this role, you will:

　　Ability to work hands-on with software engineers and have passion for delivering high quality code

　　Strong logical, analytical and problem-solving skills

　　Responsible for coding, unit testing, implementing and maintaining new and existing modules and applications.

　　Work collaboratively with Quality Assurance (QA) engineers through participation in the testing process.

　　Ensure the long-term architectural and performance strategies are considered when designing and coding solutions

　　Ensure the ongoing quality of the product and customer satisfaction by helping to reduce customer defects.

　　Provide technical and functional guidance to the team where needed.

　　Collaborate within a project team to optimize performance of complex software systems. Troubleshoot and resolve problems.

　　Collaborate with cloud operations, customer support, quality assurance and others, as needed.

　　You’ve got what it takes if you have:

　　BS,BTech/MS/MTech in computer science, engineering, or equivalent

　　Minimum 2 years of software engineering work experience

　　Strong understanding of development and design fundamentals in at least one of the following languages – Core Java

　　Strong understanding ofdevelopment and design fundamentals in Spring Boot, Hibernate etc

　　Strong understanding on tools like Eclipse, Apache Maven, Apache Ant etc

　　Strong understanding and configuration knowledge of one of the server applications like Weblogic, Websphere etc

　　Understanding of development and design fundamentals in client frameworks such as ReactJS, JQuery, AngularJS, Javascript

　　Strong understanding of development and design fundamentals in MS SQL 2k8 & above

　　Detail oriented, organized, thorough and strong quality control.

　　Strong debugging skills and experience troubleshooting customer reported issues.
