　　Role Overview:

　　Collins Aerospace is looking for a Software Developer to develop software tools for manufacturing to support efficiency, automation, and mistake proofing.

　　This includes understanding process flow of current business or manufacturing process and breaking down steps to allow for data collection and decision making. Team member will work with end users (including operations team) to understand logical progression and data needed.

　　Primary Responsibilities:

　　Producing clean, efficient code based on needs of end user

　　Testing and deploying programs and systems, often within ERP system (SAP)

　　Maintaining and improving existing software and websites, including support access and servers

　　Identifying efficiencies and opportunities to mistake proof within a business or manufacturing process

　　Strong problem-solving and communication skills

　　Experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies

　　Ability to learn quickly and work independently or as part of a team

　　Qualifications/Experience Needed:

　　Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience

　　Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　Bachelor’s or in Computer Science or a related field

　　3+ years of experience in software development

　　Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio and ASP.NET (MVC) Web Applications

　　Proficiency in common coding languages including C#, SQL, VB, HTML

　　Experience in Tableau is a plus

　　The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
