　　We are looking for an experienced Software Architect to join the team to be responsible for leading innovation and developing powerful real-time collaboration and situational awareness software for the GE Healthcare Ultrasound ecosystem. GE Healthcare’s current offerings deliver cloud-based, virtual, real-time face-to-face clinical collaboration capabilities (TeleUltrasound) that help maximize the full potential of Ultrasound devices and drive measurable improved clinical and operational outcomes. This role will be responsible for optimization of the current architecture as well as providing technical and thought leadership for future cutting-edge solutions in the same space.

　　Role & Responsibility:

　　Interact with internal and external stakeholders to map business requirements to domain requirements and design qualities such as reliability, security, reusability, testability, etc.

　　Support the development teams on all levels by finding the right architectural trade-offs and assist the scrum teams in implementing the taken decisions such as appropriate technology, tools, solutions, workflow, coding standards, etc.

　　Lead POC/ATD to solve new and complex problems by researching, learning, and proposing novel solutions in addition to participating in their actual implementation.

　　Advocate new and current technologies by researching technology trends, creating demonstrators, and elaborating the benefits.

　　Research and introduce new architectural design patterns, best practices, and technology trends.

　　Coach and inspire team members to achieve business goals while supporting their personal growth.

　　Contribute to proposals, reports, research, and presentations.

　　Create and document high-level software architecture to guide the organization and serve as a basis for mutual understanding between all parties involved in product development.

　　Ensure the maintainability and extensibility of software architectures over many release cycles.

　　Work with other architects/teams to create an efficient DevOps environment, to keep development and operations teams aligned.

　　Analyze, design, and develop a software architecture roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state of the business.

　　Education Qualification

　　Bachelor’s degree (master preferred) in computer science or related field.

　　Minimum 8 years of experience in software development and design.

　　Requirements to succeed:

　　Technical Expertise Desired:

　　Extensive technical background with Hands-on in software development in different programing languages (i.e., C/C++, Objective – C, Java, JavaScript, C#) and technology stacks with focus on performance, security, and flexible code.

　　Experience and excellent conceptual knowledge in architecture and software design patterns that drive scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

　　Experience in developing cross-platform GUI for Android, iOS, and Windows using Qt/C++.

　　Experience in multimedia streaming technologies. This includes video and audio codecs, streaming standards (MPEG-DASH, HLS, RTSP), and latency optimization techniques.

　　Experience in WebRTC, SIP, and other relevant technologies.

　　Experience in Event-Driven Microservices and Domain Driven Design.

　　Proven knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS (minimum 3 years).

　　Experience and best practices for designing, publishing, documenting, analyzing, and managing APIs to drive consumption, collaboration, and internal/external reuse.

　　Experience in Microservices technologies, SQL & NoSQL database technologies, Data Serialization and transfer technologies, Event-Driven architecture and message queuing technologies, security frameworks and standards, data modeling techniques, containerization and container orchestration technologies (i.e., Docker, Kubernetes), etc.

　　Experience with one or more front-end frameworks (i.e., VUEJS, AngularJS, jQuery, ReactJS), and on or more back-end frameworks (i.e., Express/Node.js, Spring Boot).

　　Experience in the integration and implementation of IdAM solutions including working knowledge of SAML and OAuth.

　　Experience with modern software development tools for Continuous Integration including Jenkins, Git/Gitlab, Jira, JFrog Artifactory, Maven, Gradle, SonarQube, and Ansible, Azure pipelines, AWS CodePipeline, tec.

　　Experience with Automated unit test (i.e., JUnit, Mocking frameworks), Test Driven Development (TDD), and Behavior-driven development (BDD) (i.e., Cucumber).

　　Personal & Leadership Skills
