　　Summary of Job Function:Provides evaluative and inpatient mental health services to the patients/family of the inpatient unit. Maintains close contacts with community providers serving the patients. Prepares and maintains records and reports regarding patient treatment and progress as required by regulatory standards and organizational policy. Participates as an integral part of the Milieu to provide a safe and secure treatment environment. Participates in the unit PI/QA programs and hospital quality improvement efforts. Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc.

　　Job Requirements:Masters degree required. LSW or LCSW required. Must demonstrate theoretical knowledge of psychology for Child/Adolescent, Adult/Geriatric populations. One to twelve months prior experience in related field required, prior experience in psychiatric inpatient setting preferred.
