A SNQ Auditor is needed for a multinational manufacturing company that produces and distributes trucks, buses and construction equipment, as well as marine and industrial drive systems in the Greensboro, NC area. This job leads risk-based supplier audits, collaborates with the Supplier Quality Engineer, and supports sourcing decisions with strong leadership and analytical skills, emphasizing a preference for engineering expertise and frequent travel.

responsibilities:
Evaluate supplier capability, performance, and potential using a risk management approach.
Conduct audits on suppliers, focusing mainly on supporting operations within North America.
Coach suppliers with the Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to develop risk mitigation plans.
Utilize tools like Supplier Evaluation Model (SEM) for Automotive purchasing, involving system audits.
Identify weaknesses, gaps, and potential risks in supplier processes.
Calibrate existing lead auditors within the SQE organization by sharing best practices.
Ensure fact-based and robust audit outputs for sourcing decisions.
Present audit reports and upload them into the company system.
Requirements:
Preferred Bachelor's in Engineering or 5 years of technical experience (extensive experience can substitute for an academic degree).
Audit skills and good knowledge of ISO 19011.
Structured approach with strong analytical and logical thinking skills.

Proficient in continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience in various production processes.

Good English communication skills (both oral and written).
