Here’s what you’d do:
This is an ON-CALL, Seasonal Part-Time Position.In this role you will be responsible for supporting Branch Teams in the area of Snow and Ice Management through service partner engagement, safety/training, production, in-storm and post-storm responsibilities, and inventory/equipment management.
You’d be responsible for:
Service Partner Engagement
On-site visit (client sites)
Lead Subcontractor optimization to ensure quality and efficiency
Manage multiple service partners during snow storms
Safety / Training
Providing training and guidance to crew members, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
Coordinate with team members, service partners, and client onsite trainings as needed
Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and promoting a safe work environment for the team.
Production
Coordinate with branch teams to validate Production/Snow Organizational Charts
Implementing snow clearing plans, ensuring efficient and timely removal of snow from driveways, parking lots, walkways, and other designated areas.
Equipment/Inventory Management
Maintains inventory by physical inspections
Monitor/assist pre-storm and post-storm equipment checks
Ensure bagged materials are stored properly
Pre-Storm / In-Storm / Post-Storm Responsibilities
Support branch, subcontractors
Aid Branch Administrator in timesheet collection
Assist in collection of subcontractor invoices/timesheet when needed
You might be a good fit if you have:
Minimum of 3-5 years of snow removal experience and 5-8 years of generally managing teams
Ability to manage multiple sites, meeting deadlines, and demands
Communicate clearly, comfortably, and effectively with clients, team members, and management
And while not mandatory, it would be great if you also have:
Ability to drive all company vehicles
Resolve problems while keeping in mind the best interests of the company, client and employees
Prioritize and plan work to maximize efficiency
Complete paperwork accurately and timely
Do any of the following for an extended period:
Drive
Paperwork/Documentation
Good knowledge of industrial materials and equipment used in snow removal
