To further Blue Origin's mission of having millions of people living and working in space, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface. Our MK2 Crew Lander mission will demonstrate the lander's core capabilities - including the privately funded BE-7 landing engine, precision landing sensors, and integrated power and propulsion architecture - as a precursor to certifying the vehicle for use by NASA as part of the Artemis lunar exploration program. The team building this vehicle is rethinking how space systems are designed, with a high-performance architecture, efficient reusability, and rapid design iteration. Responsible for project lifecycle including prioritizing and driving execution to produce electronic subsystems used to monitor, connect with, and control launch vehicles, spacecraft, satellites, and their ground support systems.We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and dedication to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required!Special MentionsRelocation providedTravel expected up to 25% of the timeShifts available:1st Shift: 8am - 5pmInterviews will include a technical assessmentResponsibilities include but are not limited to:Represent Communications team in technical reviews covering the various operational phases for the Blue Moon Crew Lander (e.g., Earth orbit operations, rendezvous/docking, lunar landing, and launch)Lead projects of varying size and complexity supporting the development of RF communication systems and componentsCoordinate with all teams to ensure mission readiness (launch crew training, certifications, procedures, maintenance & upgrades, engineering evaluations, risk mitigations, etc.)Develop reference materials (e.g., process documentation, training materials, engineering guides) on communication system design, development, and testing in support of organizational goals of standardization and repeatabilityMinimum Qualifications:Minimum of a bachelor's degree in electrical or electronics engineering, aerospace engineering, or related field8+ years of Systems or Project Engineering experience, including sophisticated system development projects within the aerospace, automotive or similar safety critical industry5+ years of leadership experience in an aerospace development environment, especially with space systems and/or lunar technologies.Knowledge and strong fundamentals in project management approaches and techniquesExperience leading and running small teams on fast-paced projects with little direction and under minimal supervisionMust be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent reside
