GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY

　　Under the general direction of a Manager and/or Team Coach, the Production Operator will perform a variety of processing tasks in the production of high performance organic pigment used in coatings for automotive, industrial and architectural applications and for coloring plastics, cosmetics and fibers.

　　SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

　　The specific responsibilities of the Production Operator, while not limited to include:

　　Perform work in multiple areas that supports production processes and ensures schedule compliance.

　　Strictly adhere to batch sheets and work procedures.

　　Comply with Quality Standards set forth in ISO Quality Manual.

　　Perform tasks and duties in support of production processes.

　　Use and follow batch sheets, barreling reports, blend sheets, floor sheets and equipment procedures.

　　Organized and perform ongoing housekeeping responsibilities and miscellaneous duties as determined by the needs of the production area (s).

　　Safely operate material handling equipment including hoists and forklifts.

　　Comply with all safety procedures and safety training requirements. Actively participate in and support site initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, 5S and the site Safety Program.

　　Process samples according to standard operating procedures.

　　Routinely wear a paper/dust mask, potential to wear on a regular basis.

　　Must be clean shaven for respirator use.

　　Perform additional duties assigned as assigned.

　　Must have reliable transportation

　　This job is physically demanding and routinely entails heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing and repetitious movement.

　　QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

　　GED/ HS diploma

　　Forklift certified or on the job experience

　　Knowledge of MS Office

　　Experience weighing, measuring and/or mixing

　　Repeatedly lifting 55 lbs

　　Standing for long periods of time

　　Clean shaven for respirator mask us

　　WORKING CONDITIONS

　　Must be flexible to work 12 hour swing shifts

　　Must be comfortable working in a team or by yourself

　　Physical movement and standing for long hours

　　Lifting, pushing and pulling equipment with product and of a variety of weights in accordance with customer order requirements
