OVERVIEWGeneral Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS) is a proud and approved DoD SkillBridge Industry Partner. SkillBridge is an excellent opportunity as you plan for your life after the military. This program is open to any rank, enlisted or officer.

　　You may be eligible to participate in SkillBridge if you:Have 180 days of service or fewer remaining prior to your date of discharge and you have at least 180 continuous days of active service.Obtain approval from your unit commander.Will receive an honorable discharge.Agree that participation in SkillBridge can be terminated at any time by the service if mission requirements dictate.The General Dynamics Land Systems SkillBridge Internship Program provides an opportunity for Service members to transition from service to industry. Our 151 to 180-day internship assignments provide real-world exposure to day-to-day activities in departments and hands-on training opportunities to re-skill and up-skill. Participants are not eligible for compensation from GDLS, as they continue to receive DOD compensation and benefits as active-duty service members. Service members receive supervision and mentorship from experienced professionals in respective fields, are included as part of the team within the department.
