　　Job Description

　　To service and teach Alpine Skiing and/or Snowboarding to guest and clients of all ages and abilities, providing an exceptional experience at The Omni Homestead Resort, providing best guest service based on Omni Service Standards

　　Responsibilities

　　Essential Functions:

　　Consistently demonstrate and own any and all tasks needed to carry out the Omni MOS. Ensuring that 6 pillars are utilized in all interactions.

　　To assist guest with learning and understanding the basic functions of skiing and snowboarding, creating memorable experiences and assisting to develop a passion for this winter sport.

　　Be prepared for any lesson that a supervisor assigns, Includes: Group lessons, Private lessons, and Children’s “Bunny School” program

　　Know and adhere to the Omni Personal Appearance Standard.

　　Report to: 1) Daily Morning Ski school meetings, 2) Any Ski School Group Line up times, and 3) Checking back at ski school desk after ever private lesson taught

　　Assist to help guests and other ski area employees

　　Must understand Class Management skills which include:

　　Safety and Risk Awareness

　　Know and teach the “Skiers Responsibility Code”

　　Know and teach “Smart Style” Code of ethics for terrain parks

　　Educate students on Equipment

　　Assess students proper levels and physical limitations and teach appropriately

　　Conduct proper Lift Loading procedures

　　Use proper “Terrain Choice” for students and instructors “free skiing”

　　Handle all Accidents with students, guests, and yourself with proper reporting procedures for all accidents

　　Have knowledge of all Ski School Programs that are offered at The Omni Homestead Snow Sports school

　　Tools and Equipment:

　　Skis/snowboards, boots, poles & snow gear

　　Working Environment:

　　Exterior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions.
