Reference #: obXKqfw2_2ebe5ed878DescriptionReporting to the Safety Director, the Site Safety Manager implements, monitors, and enforces all LF Driscoll Safety Policies and practices on a large commercial construction site.Duties & Responsibilities:1. Conduct daily subcontractor orientation.2. Document all accidents/incidents and submit required paperwork in accordance with LF Driscoll and Contractor Controlled Insurance Program requirements.3. Attend or conduct weekly site safety meetings.4. Attend all formal site safety inspections with the insurance representatives and others as required.5. Attend or conduct all subcontractor pre-planning meetings.6. Work closely with LFD site supervision and management to prevent hazards.7. Inspect jobsite for safety hazards and take corrective action as frequently during the day as possible.8. Keep Corporate Safety personnel apprised of site status & issues.9. Work with subcontractor safety professionals to ensure that hazards are being identified and corrected in a timely manner.10. Conduct inspections on the jobsite to identify and correct possible hazards relating to life, fire, public safety and worker safety issues.11. Maintain various logs and documentation from subcontractors.These include but are not limited to weekly tool box talks, weekly jobsite inspections, accident, and incident logs.12.
